When editing Profile: 1) - text in Languages is lost if you change (turn on) a checkbox. 2) Can't add languages at all?

Michael Cook Actually you can only see the "Liked" and "Recommended" content items in "News Feed" under "Most Recent" (i.e NOT under "Top News"), and the "Recommended" item only shows up under "My Links". Isn't that interesting?
....And now comment #4 on the dreaded Facebook "illusion of usefulness" usability train wreck....

Why do I get to see so much unnecessary detail about Friend's actions in my "News Feed"? Like why do I need to see that Ronnie likes Sting? Why does that show up here as an event?

Michael Cook Thanks Niko. That also arrived as a phone text 'cos I set it up. Meantime I figured out I could just go to my Profile or Wall and not see all that detail stuff. I still haven't figured out the difference between "Top News" and "Most Recent" feeds. I know I can filter the feeds but this only seems to working by excluding a Friend altogether, which seems to defeat the whole point of the exercise.

Ronnie C Graham I was updating some info on my profile there yesterday. I'm just wondering if all those updates were issued to your wall that would be totally whacked. Since I've made those changes I am now getting information and comments from many of them including Joe Bonamassa talking about working a new angle with his music and talking about visiting his mom if you can believe it.

After throwing up, I have to admit I don't really "get" Facebook. Like, if someone wants a web site, they should set up a freakin' web site already. No offense intended, but - no - I do not care what musicians/movies/TV shows/etc. anybody else likes, and I am surprised if they think I might. As well as which I think we should treat the Internet more as a precious resource. How about everybody not using the Internet at least one day a week?
